I love the colors and the cute designs! I am working on a gift for my 5 year old granddaughter to give to her first best friend - a best friend who is moving overseas because her dad is in the Army. One side of the quilt will be a map of the US with blocks of fabric that reflect her favorite things in the US and the other side will be a map of the world that she and her mom can mark special places they have been with buttons or fabric paint so she will have a wonderful keepsake of her childhood. The Just Beachy piece that has the squares of images would be perfect for representing her love of going to the beach at Jekyll Island, GA.
I saw the post with the 1930’s reproduction prints, florals and novelties and I think they are absolutely adorable. I am going to order some for a throw quilt.

We just returned from a trip to the Gulf coast of Florida and these fabrics really capture what we enjoyed on our trip to the beach.
