Let's Get Quilting - 10 pc. bundle of Nana Mae fabrics from Henry Glass
Look at all these beautiful 1930's reproduction prints in florals, novelties, and dots. This week's giveaway is a 10 pc bundle from the Nana Mae collection from Henry Glass Fabrics.
I am currently working on my first 30's quilt, for my family reunion. I'm loving the prints, and could use more (making 2 identical quilts at the same time, and they are very large quilts). Thanks for the chance.
I like the 30's reproductions, but I don't particularly look for them. I like small prints in both pastels and on the bright side. I'm a baby quilt fanatic. This line is perfect for that. I will purchase it. Thanks for the chance to win it though.
I applique, so I look for smaller prints. That usually takes me to the 1800's fabrics. I have seen a couple 30's applique quilts that I want to make and am trying to collect fabrics for them. This bundle would definitely work with my collection!
I look for any interesting fabrics that I can include in scrap quilts. Prints like these with little bunnies and dogs are great for that. I like it when there is a lot to discover in a scrap quilt.
I look around at fabrics and they find me :-) !! If I see 1930s reproduction fabrics, they definitely find me! I've found 1960s and 1970sfabrics at a couple antique-like shops. They found me too!
I've just recently begun making a civil war reproduction quilt and enjoy the fabrics very much. Using the darker shades and tans/dark creams is a change for me. I also love feedsack fabrics, 30's prints and florals.
I do loooove 30's reproduction prints, but I don't really hunt them down. I most always get what strikes me...& jumps in my cart!!! giggle... My fave quilts are usually scrap quilts tho too...
Thak you for chance to win this yummy bundle of goodness too! :D
I have always liked the reproduction fabrics of the 1930's....it brings back a lot of memories as a child. My mother was an avid quilter and there was lots of fabrics from that era to work with. I would be ecstatic to receive these!
I am absolutely crazy about 30's fabrics. I would only buy 3 fabrics if I had my choice 30's, batiks and brights. That said I have made a few Civil War quilts and enjoyed the challenge and I do love Red and White quilts.
I don't really look for reproduction prints - I look for fabrics and colors to suit whatever project I am planning. These ones are beautiful though. Thanks!

I don't look for an era, but I'm always drawn to tiny floral prints in bright colors!
I love what I call the "cotton candy" colors of the 30's repro fabrics. The miniature prints and colors are so delightful.
