Applique is portable and I can often take it wherever I go. I love to see appliqued pictorial quilts!
I haven't don a lot of applique, but it is on my bucket list. It is an ideal way to add some texture and pattern to quilting.
Applique is awesome using Kim's techniques.
I love the versatility of appliqué...no matter what the design you can always make it your own!

Love this quilt. I am a newbie to appliqué. I'm super eager to get started.
I would like to get more comfortable with applique. Maybe I can get to a Kim Diehl class at some point. I love her work!!!
I love the design flexibility that applique adds to a quilt. It allows curves and naturalistic shapes, and is a perfect compliment to piecing. Or can it stand alone on an applique-only quilt.
I love applique for it's portability and options for self expression. I love using freezer paper in my project preparation and this flat paper sounds like such a smart way to package it. Thanks Kim and Henry Glass!

I like that applique allows me to design with unique shapes.
I love the freedom applique allows... you can do so many different things... limited only by imagination (and perhaps skills ;-) )
I "love" applique because it challenges me to learn its methods, so different from piecing. It is such a wonderful complement to piecing's geometric straight lines.
I love appliqué because it adds so much to a pieced quilt. It's a nice thing to take along and stitch whenever you can.
Appliqué allows me the freedom to express myself in my quilts. Kim's fabrics are so pretty and I would love to use them and her freezer paper sheets in my next project.
I love the way I can express myself with appliqué. I hope I can win Kim's fabrics and the freezer paper sheets to use in my next project. Thank you for the opportunity.

I am especially fond of applique added to piecing -- it adds that special little touch to a project. Every now and then I'll even applique something to a quilt back for a happy little surprise to those who see the quilt. Birds and flowers are some of my favorite things to applique.
Love having handwork.
I love the forgiving edges of wool applique, but am looking forward to finding the single sheet freezer paper package to try on cottons. Very pretty fabrics in the Gathering Basket line.

Applique quilts are pretty but I find applique frustrating most of the time. Friends usually come to the rescue and finish those projects. I have all Kim's books and numerous quilts from them hanging in my home. A bundle of her fabrics would be so enjoyed!

I love appliqué in quilts, wall hangings, tea towels, and table toppers...I just finished an appliqué tea towel for my kitchen!!

I'm still a bit of a newbie, though I have almost everyone of Kim's books. I'm doing a lot of raw edge applique with freezer paper right now and I love the freedom it gives you to put just about ANYTHING you want on your quilt. I adore Kim and that fabric is gorgeous!!
