[Click here to link to see HG crew setting up the booth.]

We are happy, happy, happy. Let us share this fun little clip [click on the image above to get the link] about setting up our booth at Quilt Market in Houston. We had fun setting this booth up!

Let's get back to the fun of another Monday of our "Countdown To The Holidays" event! Congratulations to last week's winner, Emily Callender. Please send your contact information to this link. This week we are going to give away another bundle of the "Flannel Essentials 8" by Buggy Barn. Colors are slightly different from last week's bundle but equally beautiful.

This week we are featuring the cream panel in the collection and some coordinating prints. We can guarantee that you will love to cuddle with this flannel. It is oh so soft.

You can view the entire collection of "Flannel Essentials 8" and the accompanying free download projects on the Henry Glass website.

This would make such a cute country baby quilt. Adorable fabrics

My first quilting project was a king sized lone star...I didn't have a rotary cutter back then so I used a pattern and a scissors to cut out all 704 diamond shapes. :)

My first quilt project was a pattern called Garden Enchantment by Debbie Beaves back in 2012

My first quilt that I made was a panel quilt. It had bears that were in the woods. That quilt is over 20 years old and my son still has it. Thanks for the great giveaways you have been having lately.

My first quilting project was actually done in a class at my Viking store where I bought my Viking D1 embroidery machine. We made a quilted wall hanging in class with a calendar on the top. Mine turned out just beautifully as long as you didn't look at the back where the calendar was stitched out in reverse. "Someone" did not follow instructions very well to do the calendar embroidery portion before putting the back onto the wall hanging. oops.

My very first quilting project was a quiet book I made for my daughter. I had to quilt it once I realized that when I washed it all the batting got rumpled up into a ball without the quilting! Duh! So began my love of quilting! Thanks for the giveaway!

I wish I could remember my first quilting project. I think it was a table runner, because I joined a mystery qal in order to learn quilting and that's what we made. I love qal's and continue to join them and learn from them. That fabric is so lovely; the cream panel especially.

My first quilting project was a Christmas Tree wall hanging made of HSTs. I got the pattern from a catalog. Considering the fact that I had no idea what I was doing, it turned out pretty well.

I made my first quilt with my mom when I was 16 (something like 50 years ago.) It was pink and green. It was on my parents bed until 1997 then came to me and it is now on my bed. I treasure it and sleep well under it.

My first project was a hand pieced, hand quilted 12 block quilt sampler from my lqs that taught the basics of quilting at the time, drafting templates, hand piecing, hand applique, hand quilting, and the binding was made by bringing the back to the front.

My first quilting project was a king sized quilt in Nana's Garden in 1997. I never finished it :( I didn't know how to make quarter-inch seams accurately and I got so discouraged. Thank goodness I didn't give up, though!

My first quilt was a king size big block quilt.

My first quilt project was when I was in the 5th grade. I cut squares from old scraps I found around the house, including double knits, corduroy, and wool. I sewed them together with a hand cranked Singer toy machine. Needless to say, it was a disaster and wound up in the garbage. I didn't attempt to quilt again until I was an adult.

Oh, boy! My first quilting project takes me back to 1983 when I made a full-size square block quilt in shades of purple. It was for my first (and only) apartment and I loved it! I still have it and it's been on many picnics, camping trips, softball and football games and even worked as a tent when my kids were little.

My first quilting project was finishing a baby quilt that my mom had started. She had done most of the embroidery on it, so I finished it and did the quilting. It went to my nephew who would have been her first grandbaby.

My very first quilt I ever made was many years ago when I took 2 bed sheets and put them together with batting and tied them. The first one was for a wedding present and I liked it and made another for myself. I still have it and both of my kids grew up using it and my son now calls it his inheritance.
