Snow Much Fun!

We are experiencing some rainy weather this weekend here in the NYC area. We don't have snow although someone said that it was going to snow in Pennsylvania. We thought that we'd try to cheer you up even if it's sunny where you are.

Let us know your favorite season of the year and we will send one winner a bunch of this line, Snow Much Fun by Shelly Comisky. What's so exciting about this? We just received some of this fabrica and you will be the very FIRST to have your hands on it. In fact, it isn't in the stores for a few weeks. Make sure that you comment by midnight next Sunday, April 29, 2012. Let your friends know and enter! Good luck! GIVEAWAY CLOSED ------

My favorite seasons are Spring and Fall but that doesn't mean I don't love Winter themed fabric!

Normally, I LOVE the winter holiday season - I get a month off of school, my husband and I have some time together, there's a beautiful blanket of snow outside, fires in fireplaces, and family - how can you go wrong?? But this year is different. We bought our first home last fall and this spring has been such an exciting and surprising season! All kinds of blooms we didn't know we had, surprisingly nice weather early, plans for a veggie garden, new perennials, new patio, a shaded front porch perfect for evenings outside. The new growth has been so inspiring.

Thank you for this opportunity.

I love all the seasons! But I guess winter and spring - winter because it gives us a break from the heat, and spring because we can plant again!

I don't really have a favorite season, I enjoy each season, as each one is different and has it's own advantages. I do however LOVE SNOWMEN, and would love to win some of this adorable fabric! Hope to see it in my local quilt shop this year.

Living in New England means weather changes each season and each has it's own merits. I love autumn and winter, but right now am loving the beautiful spring we are having. I just can't pick one. Love that fabric collection. Thanks for the giveaway.

My favorite time of year has always been fall with winter running a close second. Oddly enough, I was a July baby that just can't take humidity and heat!

Any sewist would be absolutely thrilled to get a chance to work with these adorable snowmen! I'll post this giveaway on the sidebar of my Pumpkin Hollow blog. Thanks for the chance!! :)

If I have to choose, it would be spring. The weather changes daily, cool rains, everything is in bloom and it's planting time!

I love Spring. The weather becomes sunny and warm. The beautiful colors as the earth comes out of hibernation. It also may be because tulips are my favorite flower and they are usually the first to bloom!

We have a camp on the lake in Maine...and opened it up today. This is my favorite season...getting ready for the summer ahead when no one else is around yet.

I have two favorite times of the year: first, those first clear warming days of winter past/spring coming when I can open the windows & feel invigorated. Second, fast forward to six months later where summer is waning/fall coming with my windows opened to coolish, breezing-gorgeous-outside air.

I love spring. Hopefully, it will arrive sometime this year. We are expecting the same snow as PA tomorrow. Thanks so much for a chance to win some of this adorable fabric.

I have to say I love Spring the most because after a long winter the trees and flowers are waking up again. These snowmen bring back the excitement on my kids faces when the first "sticky" snow fell and they could make a snowman!

I love Spring for the lovely green things showing up again after a long winter and for the lovely smell of my lilacs. But, I really love Fall because of the cooler temps and the yearly visits to the apple orchards.

I do NOT like Winter at all. Right now it's just a week or so away from May and we are under a freeze warning tonight here in Northern IL. ugh.

winter! my fav time of the year! so cool ... the sky is bluer when it's clear, the days are shorter, the moon is brighter. snow, let me count the ways: light and dry, wet and heavy, powdery, pellets, drifting, blowing sideways. and every kind between. every day is different. all colors, and lack of color; from darkly dark stormy days to blinding bright sunny days.

I like winter because of Christmas but my favorite season is fall because of all the beautiful colors and it has my favorite cold, crisp, windy days.

“I wonder if the snow loves the trees and fields, that it kisses them so gently? And then it covers them up snug, you know, with a white quilt; and perhaps it says "Go to sleep, darlings, till the summer comes again.”
― Lewis Carroll, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland & Through the Looking-Glass
Of course winter is my favorite!!

Spring is my favorite; warm enough to leave the windows open without sweltering and the breeze from the blooming flowers is awesome.
