HG Designer Linda LumDebono blogs for US!

Hello! Happy Holidays! I hope that you had a great Thanksgiving holiday!
I'm so excited for the upcoming Christmas holidays!

This was an exciting year for me and there's more to come!

First, I was a guest on Quilt Out Loud in the summer. That was loads of fun to film. Can you imagine anything else sitting there with Mark Lipinski and Jodie Davis? It was such an awesome experience.

Next, I finished up a few projects for the wonderful folks at American Patchwork & Quilting. The first thing that I can finally share with you is my profile. It appears in the Feb 2010
issue that's on newsstands now. I also designed a quilt to compliment the article using my pretty Inspiration line.

Speaking of Inspiration, the response to the fabric line has been phenomenal. Thank You!

My latest book hit the store shelves in the past few weeks.
Jolly Stuff, is full of quick, easy and fun holiday items.

You can see all of my publications for Leisure Arts on their website.

Of course, there was the Cross-Country Designer Blog Hop.
We had such a great time for twelve days.
There were loads of free patterns, recipes, memories and giveaways too. You can start with my blog and click on all of the links on the sidebar on the right.

Phew, I think that's it for now. You can get my news on my website or blog and have some fun being my friend on
Facebook!

Thank you so much for sharing this journey with me!
Have a great holiday! L

Quilt Ideas from Little Quilts using their newest line Tanyard Creek

Here are some new quilt ideas using..."Tanyard Creek", the new line of fabric by Little Quilts.

"Hospitality" is a 26" x 26" quilt using the Tanyard Creek fabricline. The pattern is from a "Reflections of the South" collection designedby Little Quilts for Henry Glass & Co. The simple pineapple applique, along-time symbol of hospitality in the south, is perfect for this charmingwall hanging to welcome friends. It would make a perfect house warming gift!

This quilt was made by Little Quilts staff member Linda Rice usingthe Tanyard Creek fabric line. She used the Josephine's Sampler pattern byLori Smith (From My Heart To Your Hands). Patterns and all fabrics for thisquilt are available at Little Quilts.

We love the old antique reproduction look of the new "Tanyard Creek"line of fabric from Little Quilts. The line also includes several newshirtings. The entire line is available from Little Quilts along withbundles and fat quarters.

Barbara Jones of Quilt Soup Blogs for HG!

Simply Sweet by Barbara Jones of Quilt Soup

Simply Sweet made it’s debut at Fall Quilt Market in Houston. I love this collection! We designed the sweetest floral stripes, a companion floral lattice, and a delicate little vine print.

We combined a funky oval print and our signature dots, stripes and checks to round out the collection. We were so inspired that we all ready have about 6 new quilts planned for this collection.

The first one we made is called Ladybug Hug and the pattern ships November 1st.
Simply Sweet ships in January 2010. I’m telling you that I can hardly wait!
