The breeze was just right, the motion of the ship was just right, the night was just right. I am almost positive that very night my last child, our only daughter, came into existence. :)

A few years ago we took a 10 day cruise to the French Polynesian Islands - it was very romantic and so much fun!

Going to Hawaii with DH for our 25th wedding anniversary.
ReplyDeleteThe 4 kids in my family hosted a 50 year wedding anniversary party with the wedding cake and everything else for my parents. They eloped to another state and kept it a secret for a couple of months before telling anyone. My dad was in the Army and my mom was a senior in high school.

My most romantic adventure was when my now husband and I went for a tandem bike ride, I don't know if I can call this a truly "Romantic" adventure, but it was such fun despite the fact that I was scared out of my wits the first, well almost the whole time, haha. It was fun though!!!

ReplyDeleteHaving dinner on the River Queen with my husband for our anniversary many years ago. The River Queen was originally a steam powered ferry that ran between San Francisco and Oakland before the Golden Gate Bridge. Eventually it ended up in my hometown as a restaurant on the river.
