  1. I found a single fabric many years ago that was small pink roses with silver trim. They said wedding cake to me over and over. So much so that after buying 1/2 yard, I went back to the store and bought 2 more yards so I knew i would have enough when the time came to use it. I finally used it for the trim of a flower girl's dress and it turned out so sweet. I have just a bit of it left and will probably use it as a anniversary gift of some sort for the couple.

  20. I haven't been inspired by a collection for a wedding but do remember the fabrics we chose for the bridesmaids dresses I sewed for my sisters weddings years ago were the inspiration for the rest of the decorations. This is lovely fabric.

  21. I've never been inspired to use a fabric for a wedding, although I've seen fabric that was so perfect for a particular bride that it "had" to be made into a quilt for the bride and groom, usually delivered long after the wedding, I'm sad to say.

  29. I had a taupe silk fabric that I knew would be most beautiful for a non traditional wedding dress. I made up the most flattering dress with dangling shells for my aunt and uncle's 20th wedding vows renewal. one of a kind most certainly.

These fabrics are such a soft pretty palette.

  34. Several years ago I sewed 3 flower girl dresses. Th fabric that was provided didn't look very weddingish to me, but the dresses came out nice. I've never seen a bolt of fabric that clearly looked like it belonged in a wedding, but maybe that's just because of the stock available at the quilt shops I patronize. -- soparkaveataoldotcom
