  1. I was one of your Desire to Inspire challengers some months back. Does that qualify as 15 minutes of fame? I never really wanted to be famous, so if it does or not, it's all good.

  2. One summer evening my husband, my best friend and I went to see a production at our outdoor Muny theater. With summers in our city reaching scorching levels at times, the theater had large industrial fans near the front entrance to help circulate the air to help with the humidity.

We had all stopped at the food stands before we went to our seats to get refreshments. With our hands full, we had passed by the fans on our way to find sitting. Well guess what happened next.... the wind drafts from the huge fans caught the bottom of my sundress and blew it up over my head. With my hands full and blinded by my dress I could do nothing. My friend and my husband were so stunned at first, it took them a few seconds to realize what was happening and then mobilize to help. They both sat their refreshments down and worked to pull my dress down.

We were all laughing so hard and so was the audience. What else could I do but take a bow. I got a standing ovation from some of the audience. It was hilarious and something to remember for a lifetime.

  21. I can't think of any 15 minutes of fame. Or maybe this would qualify: when my twin sister and I were 4, we played angels in a pre-school play for Christmas. The curtain went up, and the angels were fighting - fists and all. The crowd apparently loved us! LOL!
