  5. If I like how it looks I don't think it needs to be defined or labeled.

  6. I think I'm more of a traditional quilter, although there are some modern designs that intrigue me. Thanks for the giveaway!

  7. I definitely prefer traditional quilts and like to make them. I was just part of a qal that featured blocks that I later found in a book published in 1949. I love some of the blocks and will be looking up their history. However, I do like whimsical fabric as well as those that are classy and pretty.

  11. Even after all these years of quilting, I am still drawn to the traditional. I enjoy looking at the "modern" quilts but I think my heart will always be with the warmer fabrics of days gone by. Love Love Love these fabrics. Thanks for the contest!

  12. I like traditional quilt designs the best but I change them up a bit adding my own special touches. Love the rich colors in that bundle.

  13. Think I am more of a "Blend" of Traditional/Modern...kinda like a "Heinz 57" mix! lol I love old patterns...but do like changing them up a bit here & there!

Thank you for chance to win your Give-a-way too! :D

  14. I'm a crossover quilter! I love the traditional quilts, yet I am being more and more drawn to the modern bright colours and lots of negative space for FMQ and simplistic designs. Not totally sold on just solids though...although I have always loved Amish quilts! I also love intricate quilts like Mariner's Compass and Marsha McCloskey's Feathered Stars! I'm a conundrum huh?!

  17. I like traditional quilts. I haven't tried to make a modern quilt, but some I've seen are based on traditional patterns.

  18. I am more of a simple traditionalist primitive style, warm earthy colors, lots of applique type of quilter. So hard to put into just one category. I like the new fabrics, hope that a shop near me carries this line.

  20. I checked out her new fabric line and find it very appealing, thank you for the pattern .
I'm more of a traditional quilter. But I'm liking all the new applique variations coming around right now too. I throw a little primitive in there too.

I would call myself a traditional quilter but once in awhile I like to make something that is alittle different from the norm. Most of the time i like to piece my blocks, but sometimes I enjoy adding some applique to myquilts.

  28. I am both. I have recently (about two years now) started dabbling into the fresh modern look, but if the fabric is just right, I seem to go back to doing a traditional one.

  39. Fun collection. I actually prefer traditional blocks and quilting, but use lots of batiks which I think is more modern. I don't think I'm in either camp, but a combo of both. I'm actually in a challenge this month to do something modern. I need to be flexible!

  40. I am a newbie, so I am trying it all. :)

  41. I am both Modern and Traditional, depends on my mood. I like both.

    ReplyDelete
  42. I consider myself as quilting with more of a modern slant than traditional and more eclectic than modern. So perhaps no set category for me.

  43. Probably I am more of a traditional quilter. But I just do what I love and do not really think about it.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I think I am somewhere in the middle. My home--and my design preference--will never be the sleek, clean aesthetic that I associate with modern designs, so in that way I am much more comfortable with the traditional look. But I appreciate the use of space in quilting and the interesting way older patterns can be enlarged or featured in new or unusual ways in modern quilts. So, I guess this is a wishy-washy answer. Is there a box to check for "a little bit of both"?

  45. I enjoy experimenting, using modern fabrics with traditional patterns and vice versa 😊

    ReplyDelete
  46. I would say I veer more towards the modern. Gorgeous bundle, thanks for the chance x
