Good Morning Monday!

This week we are featuring a fun holiday line, "Cocoa & Cookies" by Shelly Comiskey. The collection is in stores and we know that this flannel fabric would make a soft, lovely quilt.

  4. The only thing on my cutting board for Christmas so far is pillow case style dresses for little girls in need. And some tote bags to hold toys for needy kids.

    My favorite holiday drink is hot cocoa and I like to add a peppermint stick to stir it and whipped cream or marshmallows on top.

  20. So cute! I love any hot drinks in the winter - for super easy hot cider, I pour a jug of apple cider in my crock pot, add some cinnamon sticks, a few cloves and a bit of brown sugar. Let it simmer and make the house smell yummy before you enjoy...

  42. We have been making apple cider and apple juice along with apple pie moonshine. I like apple juice warmed with a shot of 'Hot Damn' or 'Butterscotch Schnapps'. Yummy for the tummy.

  44. Working on 2 wall hangings...both in Hand Applique...my 1st try at Applique...love it..but am slow! lol Also making new Jamma's the Kiddo's & now few Grankiddo's have been added to "List" past few years too! Nice!

  46. I add 1/4 tsp cinnamon to my Hot Cocoa, clears my head and helps reduce inflammation in my finger joints.
    Sewing up Christmas tree skirts, and a runner for every single wooden desk, dresser or table in my home. (which is pretty small:)

Not as much as I usually do, of course I know I will be adding more projects as the date moves forward. I'm making my mug rugs to put in a basket under the tree for neighbors or stop by visitors.   100. Sadly, I have not started making things yet this year. I'm planning to make pajamas for each of my grandkids. I still need a Christmas Tree Skirt for our tree. I'm still using one I made years ago and really would love a new one that is more matched with our tree we have now. No, my tree is not green. My husband surprised me and bought me a gorgeous purple tree I saw in the window at a bookstore. He actually bought the one from their window that day because it was their last one. It was hard for me to go to a fake tree but purple makes it easier to handle. :)
