Let's Get Quilting 2016 - Quilt Camp by Barbara Jone of QuiltSoup
In case you missed this, here is a great interview with Barbara Jones who designed this cute Quilt Camp collection. We are giving away a 6 pc. bundle this week, which is a mix of some of these styles.
I love to go camping my idea of a great time is a camper. I have to take a sewing machine with me. :) I would love to make place mats, napkins, and pot holders with this collection. Thank you for the projects.
I've spent many days camping as a kid and later as a mom both in tents and campers. Now that I've got it out of my system, I camp in a hotel with a king sized bed, AC, and room service!
We love to camp, tho haven't in past few years due to some surgeries. We did alot of Tent camping, and a few small cabins. Greast fun & lots of beautiful sights. Makes great Heart Memories..us us, and our Kiddo's! :)
Thank you for chance to win your Give-a-way! This Bundle is sooooo fun!! :D
This fabric is sew cute. I have two friends who love to camp and I would really like to make something for both of them with this fabric. Thanks for the great giveaway.
Years ago as a child it was camper and I loved it. Of course, Mom did all the work. Then later years with my own children, it was tent camping. I still loved going, although I realized just how much work my own Mom did back then. Now? I'm over the hill and on my way down and camping to me these days is all about hotels. IF we had a motorhome, I'd probably be fine using that, but sadly, we don't have one of them at this point.
I guess maybe I should have just answered "all of the above" to the question since I've done almost all options. lol
Such a cute collection: It would go perfectly with our new trailer which is a retro re-issue of the 1961 Shasta, in Seafoam green. Wings and all!! a few pillows from this fabric would be so perfect! Thanks for the chance to win it!!
When we were younger a tent served us well, but now that we are older that old tent just doesn't have the charm it once had. Our Pop-up camper is like a grand motel after years of tent camping.
I enjoy tent camping, but with limited amenities in the vicinity. ;-) I've never been RVing, but I think I would like it -- minus the gas bill and the actual driving bits.

I have tented in the past, and we have had a pull-along trailer. Now, we have a motorhome. I guess we're getting spoiled, but camping is still sitting around the campfire, bike-riding, hiking, etc. Thank you, peterstankovich@comcast.net

ReplyDeleteFor my children and I camping is tents, sleeping bags, campfires to cook over. For my husband it's a hotel with no Sports Channel:)

ReplyDeleteA tent - a really big one that I can stand up in. On our honeymoon we had a puptent....LOL...fun but absolutely no room!!!
ReplyDeleteCamped years ago but now hotels are more my speed!
