I love celebrating anything USA. My birthday falls on the Forth of July, and I love it. So I would say the Forth of July is my favorite day to celebrate. Thank you so much!
The celebration of Thanksgiving with turkey and all the trimmings is probably my favorite tradition because unlike Christmas it is a holiday where there are no expectations of giving or getting anything. It is a time for family and friends to just gather together and enjoy the day.
Independence Day celebrations with family and friends. BBQ if I am down south and clam bakes if I am in New England. Yum! I would love to win this fabric bundle, I love making patriotic quilts and Quilts of Valor.
My favorite American tradition is having freedom. Freedom to worship, to speak, to vote, to live where I want, to be educated and to travel. It's great to be an American!
Those are great prints! I love so many of them. I'll need to look next time I'm in my LQS. My favorite tradition is fireworks on the 4th of July, and cookouts with friends.
Thanksgiving Day is my favorite American tradition. I know it is not an idea exclusive to American--Canadians, for example, have a Thanksgiving celebration of their own--but it is the American holiday and tradition that I love the most and am the most proud of.
I love to see people flying the flags, hearing people sing the National Anthem and other patriotic songs, and I love to hear bands playing patriotic marching songs.
My favourite American tradition would be the Fourth of July. I live in Windsor and we have Canada Day on July 1, so the two cities, Detroit on one side of the river, Windsor on the other have a terrific fireworks display in the middle of the river usually on the last Monday of June. It is sponsored by Ford and last at least a half hour. My daughter lives in Detroit so this would go to her. :-)
I love the Fourth of July with all the pomp, band music, American flags, and of course fireworks. Lots of good family fun and food as well. Great line of fabric!
These are gorgeous fabrics...the paisleys are just beautiful. The colors of red, white and blue always evoke a patriotic feeling in me but when the designs are this pretty they really inspire me to MAKE something! My favorite American tradition is Sunday dinner with all the family...and voting together!
Fourth of July. I love seeing all the red, white and blue displayed. I remember the week after 9-11 and how flags, bunting, anything red, white and blue appeared across the nation. I was on a road trip and cannot begin to tell you how amazing it was to see so many people proud of our country.
4th of July, gives me the greatest feeling of being proud of where we live, with our freedom!!! thanks for the chance to make something red, white and blue in honor of our country.
