ReplyDeleteI'll definitely being sewing and hopefully doing some quilting as well for the Labor Day weekend. I have two grandchildren who have a birthday; one today and her brother tomorrow so I need to finish their presents. Then I'll try to do something with quilting since I have SO many things I want to do and I haven't been able to do any sewing in my sewing room for a very long time because the entire room had been emptied and rearranged. Yes, that includes every bit of my fabric as well. ugh. What a mess I created. LOL That isn't finished yet, but at least it's a bit more manageable now where I can find things a little better.
ReplyDeleteNo quilting this weekend. We are having the family come for a cookout.

ReplyDeleteI hope to do some sewing or quilting over labor day. That will be after I go to a bridal shower brunch on Saturday for which I've been sewing like mad. The invitation came just 10 days before the shower and I wanted to have a handmade gift! My favorite shower gift is a collection of quilted seasonal table runners so the newlyweds will have decorations throughout the year. So I'm making 7 runners in 10 days. I'll throw in a few handmade pot holders as well. I've done this before for showers but each collection is unique. Different patterns, different fabrics. Generally the bride-to-be seems very excited with it.
