No, I don't buy block of the months. If I did, I would get them all at one time.
ReplyDeleteI don't buy BOMs - too many great things to do with all the free stuff on the internet, plus I like to use my own choice of fabrics.
ReplyDeleteWhen I buy BOM I like to get them once a month. More fun that way plus I will be more apt to keep up.
ReplyDeleteI have bought BOM. I like to get them once a month, more fun that way.
ReplyDeleteNo, I have never bought a block of the month.
ReplyDeleteI only bought one BOM and it was a fee for all blocks. Normally I don't as it is difficult with shipping overseas and I love to use my stash. But I attend a few free BOM's which I like a lot!
ReplyDeleteI made a quilt for my sister's 50th birthday from a Block of the month. However, I didn't start sewing one block per month, so I had to catch up. But I did get it finished, quilted and bound for her birthday.
ReplyDeleteI do not buy BOM's as I like to choose my own fabrics and not have them chosen for me. But for some I know this is a great way for them to make coordinated quilts. It's all a personal choice.
ReplyDeleteI haven't done any recently, but when I did, I liked getting them all together. I could skip around and do them in whatever order I felt like, I could get ahead if I needed to and if I got behind, that was ok too. LOL Thanks for the fun!
ReplyDeleteBTW the link to the demo gives me an error message. :-(
ReplyDeleteI have never bought a BOM. I have tried to participate in free online BOMs but usually fall behind before long. Still, I have the patterns and can make them when they fit my schedule.
ReplyDeleteI have never done a BOM. I'm on a very limited budget.
ReplyDeleteI like the idea, but I prefer to choose my own pattern (and often make my own). I rarely like both the fabric and the pattern of a BOM. My schedule is also so busy that realistically I don't have time.
ReplyDeleteI have done both.
ReplyDeleteNo, I didn´t ,I`m sewing along and made free BOM,last years and this one.I get them on the the blogs I`m following. There are generous designer that share them.
ReplyDeleteNO, I don't buy block of the month, but this is gorgeous fabric!
ReplyDeleteNo, I don't buy BOM, but this fabric is gorgeous! would love to win!
ReplyDeletei do buy boms usually one at a time but alos do many online to use my stash.
ReplyDeleteNo to BOMs -not that I wouldn't love to but just not enough time or energy :) Okay not enough time-one can always get the energy,
ReplyDeleteI used to buy BOMs and bought them monthly. I have not bought one in a few years because I still have some from years past that I have not even started. Of course I am not ruling out buying one again, if I absolutely LOVE it.
ReplyDeleteI participated only once in a block of the month at a local quilt shop. I didn't care for the quilt when I finished it. It would take amazing fabrics to get me to do another one.
ReplyDeleteI do them one at a time.
ReplyDeleteI don't buy BOMs. I don't want a quilt identical to someone else's. I may follow BOMs where I use my own fabrics. Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. I have a couple of BOMs waiting for attention.
ReplyDeleteI did once, at month 8 they couldn't get the remainder of the pattern, and that was that...total waste.
ReplyDeleteNo I don't buy patterns. I like to wing it with what I have already. But I hope I win.
ReplyDeleteYes I do buy some block of the month and I learn so much from the designers. Thanks you
ReplyDeleteI have not participated in a BOM, but I would probably purchase a month at a time.
ReplyDeleteI haven't yet bought one, yet have been tempted.
ReplyDeleteI buy them 1 month at a time, if I like it
ReplyDeleteI have gotten a couple when I was just learning to quilt - but I found on most of them there wasn't enough info - plus having to pay shipping every month. I love the quilts that I did, but probably won't order another one
ReplyDeleteI have never bought Bom I already have more fabric than I probably need but don't tell Hubby🇬🇧😊
ReplyDeleteNot usually. I'll wait for the book or whole pattern.
ReplyDeleteI'm doing my first BOM now!
ReplyDeleteI don't do BOM programs. I'm too impatient. I don't like waiting to finish the project. Lol...
ReplyDeleteUsually by the month
ReplyDeleteI do not buy BOM because I've experienced not enough fabric several times.
ReplyDeleteMonthly purchase of the BOM, that way I stay on task and don't fall behind stitching. Plus I love receiving new pattern and fabrics each month, it's like a gift to me:) Thank you all at Henry Glass & Co. You're awesome!

No I've not yet ordered a BOTM.

No I've not yet ordered a BOTM.
ReplyDeleteChocolatechippers at gmail dot com
No I don't buy BOMs but I do take part in the free BOMS online.
ReplyDeleteI do like BOTM. I have done them both ways, but usually 1 month at a time.
ReplyDeleteI have bought two complete BOM packags for quilts to be made as special gifts. I also participate in some on-line BOM projects using my own fabrics. So the answer is Both.
ReplyDeleteI don't buy BOMs. I see many beautiful projects sold this way, but I think my attention span is too short for this type of project.
ReplyDeleteDon't use bom, prefer to design my own, , making it up as I go along!
ReplyDeleteI buy them sometimes. A block at a time.
ReplyDeleteThe Gleam app says there are 36 possibl entries but it will only show me one way to enter.
ReplyDeleteI do not buy BOM's. There are so many free ones on the sites that I enjoy I just figure I have more money to spend on fabric.
ReplyDeleteI haven't bought one.....but they are appealing
ReplyDeleteI did my first quilt as a block of the month in 1987 - we went to class and learned how to piece the block. I haven't bought one since. I have done guild blocks with my own fabric.
ReplyDeleteYes, I have done A BOM program. Beautiful, happy fabric! urchin(at)kpunet.net
ReplyDeleteI am not doing BOMs . I don't really like sampler quilts and it seems that they end up looking like them. I also have a hard time with following instructions. If I'm told to use a light background, I tend to want a dark one to jack up the contrast.....
ReplyDeleteno...but they are lovely
ReplyDeleteI don't buy block of the month programs. I used to participate in a BOM that one of our LQS had but you could only get one block at a time there. The shop has since closed and I haven't found a program at any of the other LQS that I like.
ReplyDeleteSandy A
I've joined in many BOM's online and use my own fabric, so no I don't buy them.
ReplyDeleteI did a couple of BOM programs back when I was a new quilter--finished one, and the other is still in a pizza box in my closet. Now I participate either though online quilt-alongs, or through our LQS Saturday programs, in which they provide the fabric & pattern if we complete the block (or, sometimes, just show up to pick up the components). I see a lot of very cute block of the month programs now, and would probably sign up, but the costs are way too high--$25 to $39 a month? in the end that is a very expensive quilt, before the quilting.
ReplyDeleteI love BOMs.....most of the time I buy them monthly but I have purchased all at one time if the design is so hot that I just have to have it!!!
ReplyDeleteMumbird3atgmaildotcom
No, I have not bought any BOMs, but I have taken part in a few free BOMs through blogs and enjoyed them very much! If I were to buy any, I'd buy them one at a time.
ReplyDeleteI prefer to purchase all the blocks at once, i am an over achiever and a block a month isn't enough
ReplyDeleteI like to drag out the suspense and reciev the blocks one at a time. Thanks for sharing
ReplyDeleteI haven't bought any BOM's yet, but I'd consider it if I fell in love with one of them. I'd buy a month at a time for budget purposes. Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteNo, I don't buy BOM's. I like to design my own quilts and choose my own fabrics. Thanks for your generous give-aways!
ReplyDeleteI have participated in several BOM, but I've used a combo of stash and fat quarters for them. I haven't bought BOM kits, though. I've thought about it; there are a few I would love to do!
ReplyDeletereillyr2(at)hotmail(dot)com
I do not buy BOM too many beautiful fabrics and ideas to work with already :)
ReplyDeleteI like to get all the blocks at once so I can decide if I want to make any additions or vary to my taste.
ReplyDeleteNo, I have not bought a BOM, but I have done a couple free ones online, using my own fabric.
ReplyDeleteI haven't bought any block of the month patterns yet but if I did, I'd probably buy it month by month.
ReplyDeletelin.web.28 at gmail dot com
I do buy BOM's every once in a while, but generally they cost way too much buying them that way. I would rather use my own patterns and create something with my stash of fabrics!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
nettiecrain@live.com
I have bought 2 of them because they were on sale and it was cost effective compared to normal prices. I usually just do free BOM's There are so many wonderful ones you can find on the internet that I've got six different ones going right now. Rina
ReplyDeleteI haven't bought one yet but it's something I'd be interested in in the future X
ReplyDeleteSuch cute fabric! I've done some BOMs but prefer to pick my own fabrics, so I don't do them often if a kit purchase is required. I've done lots of free ones.
ReplyDeleteI don't usually buy bom. I love so many of them but my finances will not let
ReplyDeleteI haven't purchased block of the months, I usually create my own designs. Love using EQ software for designing some of the time, or draw my own designs.

ReplyDeleteI haven't done a BOM, but I would consider it if it was just the right quilt!
ReplyDeleteI love this fabric grouping. It would be awesome to win it.
ReplyDeleteI bought one block of the month and it was a once a month purchase. I do some block of the month projects that I follow along on people's blogs using my own fabrics.
ReplyDeleteI have one BOM still languishing in my sewing room from the 1990's. I like the creative charge new fabrics give my creative juices. Too little time to spend just re-creating some one else's project.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the cute giveaway. I don't buy BOM's as I like to have all the fabric for my projects at one time.
ReplyDeleteNo I don't buy BOMs.
ReplyDeleteI have bought BOMs before, one at a time.
ReplyDeleteThe only BOM I have done was monthly at a LQS.

ReplyDeleteRarely buy BoMs but like it all spread out to try and get it done.
ReplyDeleteI have bought two BOMs on monthly plan. Usually I prefer to choose fabrics myself.
ReplyDeleteWhen I purchase them I get one at a time...easier that way to finish!
ReplyDeleteI don't buy them. I've found do many free things that have been great. Such a pretty bundle
ReplyDeleteI had three on the go at the same time once. It didn't work. I didn't manage to complete even one of them!
ReplyDeleteNo, have never bought a BOM Block, or whole Kit. I think I would buy the whole set at one time...easier to get ahead..or behind...as needed.
ReplyDeleteThank you for chance to win your Give-a-way too! :)
No, I don't buy BOMs - I have too many patterns in the books I own and the free patterns on the internet make it crazy to buy BOMs. I also prefer to use my own choices of fabrics in my quilts.
ReplyDeleteI love fun giveaways and this fabric is super fun!
ReplyDeleteI have not ever bought blocks of the month but I'm not opposed to the idea!
ReplyDeleteIf I buy one I buy it all at once. I really like to just sit and finish things. I am not a big do a little each month person.

ReplyDeleteHappy spring 💐
I love BOM's - it's a nice surprise every month
ReplyDeleteIf I buy one it's bought all at once. I don't like to dig everything out and put it away every month.
ReplyDeletei HAVE bought several block of the months - it was a great way to learn quilting. I bought them a month at a time.
ReplyDeleteSometimes I do one, especially those you follow in the magazines. I can't always keep up with the ones you buy monthly, but if I did, I'd buy all at once to ensure I didn't miss one.
ReplyDeleteI don't do BOM or kits. I always see different colors/fabrics for the patterns in the BOMs/kits, so I'd rather just have the pattern and then use my stash or go shopping for the fabric I like! (lalaluu @ yahoo dot com)
ReplyDeleteI have done one block of the month at my local quilt shop. The blocks are finished but not the setting and finishing blocks.
ReplyDeleteI've never done a BOM; never had the money. I would like to try at least one, so I probably will start one later this year
ReplyDeleteI have only bought one BOM programme at the urging of my then 10-year-old daughter, and that was before I started quilting. That got me hooked, and I haven't stopped yet, 20 years later.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful fabric!! Love it! :)

ReplyDeleteI don't buy BOM because the postage and overall cost are excessive. Just give me the pattern and turn me loose!
ReplyDeleteI've only made one BOM. I ended up changing some fabrics in it. I enjoyed it, but I really like picking my own fabrics better.
ReplyDeleteI haven't bought any BOM but I would buy them a month at a time.
