Let's Get Quilting - December 14, 2015 Edition


Santa asked us to help out this week and we are going to have a nice giveaway. We are going to pick THREE individual winners. Each winner will win ONE bundle of Kim Diehl's Sunday Best collection [random and our choice].

    I like the Desire to Inspire. Perhaps some free patterns for making quilts and small quilted items like table runners, bags, wall hangings, etc. Especially for the various seasons (posted well in advance so we have time to make them).

    I love your "Lets get Quilting" giveaway series. I won some Kim Deil fabric about three years ago and am nearly finished the project it inspired. I loved stepping outside of my box with fabrics and they have been a joy to work with.

    I love both of the current features, and think it would be great to get to know the smaller quilt shops that carry your fabric lines. Maybe readers could suggest their fabric shops, so that you could features those which are not often recognized by larger publications/venues?

    I like the giveaways even though I have never won anything. I enjoy seeing what people create but what I really like is seeing the new lines out and what the designers are doing with their line.

    Enjoyed the Jaftex blog tour very much to meet the bloggers. I also enjoy seeing how quilters use the fabric collections. I am still challenged with color and pattern combinations. I learn from quilters sharing their design process.

    I love the desire to inspire, it gives us insight on what others are making. Also I love to see the new fabrics being used.
    keep posting little projects every so often, it's one of my favorites. Kinda kicks me in the butt and says go make some of those too. :) Love your fabrics!!

    Wow, the folks featured in the Desire to Inspire series are talented and creative! I'm very impressed and humbled by their work! I'm not sure how inspiring it is, though. I just make quilts and am trying to get into making bags. It's interesting to learn about them and see their beautiful projects, though! As for the giveaway, everyone loves a giveaway, especially of fabric! I'm not on social media - no facebook, no instagram, no twitter - just the blogosphere and Pintrest and occasionally Flickr. I like to use the extra time to quilt! :P
