Let's Get Quilting - August 10, 2015 Edition


Good Monday morning! It is time for Let's Get Quilting again. First, let's congratulate Sue Gallivan for winning last week's giveaway. This week we are going to give away a bundle of Jane's Winter Song. Let us know what you've been sewing or quilting this summer.

  1. Pretty fabrics. Not sure what I'd make with this line. Haven't given Xmas a thought! With the hedgehogs, I'd make a small quilt to be ready for my next grand-niece or nephew.

  21. I would sew kiddie quilts with Hedgehugs. This summer I have been sewing quilt blocks and zipper bags and finishing two little quilts. I just love this Christmas fabric too. crystalbluern at onlineok dot com

  22. OMG they are just too cute, I'd have to make some accessories that would show off their cuteness. Maybe a little wristlet coin bag and those cross over bags the young girls wear. Maybe a pencil case and shoulder strap pads. Just for myself I'd make a microwave bowl holder. (or ice cream bowl holder)

  25. I am trying to keep a stash of fabric gift bags on hand for the holidays to replace my habit of buying and using paper gift wrap. This bundle would be perfect for this project. I want and need them in many sizes!

  34. with the fabrics from Jane's A Winter Song i'd make placemats and table runners for my daughter, she'll be a newlywed this Christmas. I'm also thinking of making a tree skirt for her too
