Let's Get Quilting - May 26, 2015 Edition

 [Leanne and Kaytlyn Anderson]

Welcome back to another week. The holiday weekend was lovely and the weather was gorgeous here in NYC.  We are getting over the rush of Quilt Market and are planning our next one. Quilt Market in October will be a special one for Henry Glass and its sister companies. Jaftex, the parent company of these divisions will be celebrating its 85th anniversary! Look out for some special fun events in the next few months.

Congratulations to last week's winner of the Let's Get Quilting giveaway, Cathy Scanlon. You won the bundle of Buggy Barn Basics. We will be contacting you soon!

Today we are going to give away a bundle of Clearwater Critters by Leanne Anderson of The Whole Country Caboodle.  Leanne always has a big, warm smile at Quilt Market. We love to see what she designs.

  34. I really wanted to move along on a bunch of different quilt projects this weekend so I would have 'sit down' work to do during the week. So I finished one on the longarm and added binding, now I can hand finish the binding. Cut some blocks, so I can mark and pin for a BOM. Counted cut fabric pieces for another and figured out what i need to finish assembly on a Stack and Whack (oh the horror of this quilt but it is gorgeous) I think I did more but by 1:00 on Monday I was still in my PJ's and the phone was ringing I needed to be here and there visiting ... Great weekend!!
