Let's Get Quilting - March 9, 2015 Edition

    I decorate my home also with table runners, wall hangings, various quilted potholders, quilted bath mats sewed onto towels and now I am working on making rugs from fabric strips.

    Looks like I might be the first one to comment. I love to make quilts but other sewing decor that I enjoy are table runners, place mats, pillow covers, wall hangings, and curtains.

    It may be spring in other parts, but where I live in Canada, we have a tonne of snow and yes, we are expecting more this week!! I am so thankful that we have a snowblower!!!

    I am really not a crafty person. However, I like to let my 3 year old twins make finger paintings on canvas for different rooms in my house.

    I like making useful items for my home. Things like casserole carriers, microwave bowl holders, potato bags, Christmas tree skirts (hmm maybe it doesn't have to be Christmas) Sewing accessories,etc. I guess I've made a few little things too like adorable pin cushions and tiny dolls to place aroundthe room.

    This fabric line is so happy and reminds me that Spring IS returning. It would be perfect made into the runner and place mats for a wedding shower gift that I am planning to make. Beautiful line!!!

    I hoping to make some cushion covers that are quilted this year. I have made lots of table runners that I enjoy making as gifts. I have made curtains but do not enjoy making them.
