Lil Red Hen in Paola, KS. It's not a huge shop but I love the selection of fabrics, that the owner will order any notion or pattern you need and the all around fun, happy spirit of the shop.
That is an easy one, lol! It is the Cotton&Color Shop. The people there are so friendly, have great advice and the shop is full with yummy fabrics at (for Switerland) resonable prices! Yay!

We really don't have a local quilt shop. The one I enjoy going to is Front Porch Quilts in Prairie Du Chein, WI. It is a cute little house with fabric in every room. There is lots of sample quilts and projects to look at and get ideas of fabric combinations. Thanks for the great giveaway.
Well, I like Creekside Quilting because I can always find something I need/want there. They also collect scraps and deliver them to an organization that makes quilts for the homeless. svonfumetti at yahoo dot com
It's hard to choose just one favorite quilt shop, but I love visiting Grubers in Waite Park MN--tons of fabrics to choose from, zillions of inspiring samples and a great staff!

Well, I don't actually know about any local quilt shops; I don't have the budget for buying fabric, so I don't go to shops, I find scraps or use what I've been given. I have been to some wonderful shops in Bird-In-Hand, PA, though!
Pieceful Quilting is my favorite local quilt shop, everyone is friendly and so wiiling to help if you want it or perfectly happy to allow you yo btowse to your heart's content, what a joy!
My favorite shop is the Quilters Attic. They are all friendly and helpful and have great classes!
My local quilt shop is in Thayer Mo and is run a very elderly couple. I love the selection of all the Henry Glass fabrics they carry
The Cotton Ball in Morro Bay California it is about 15 miles away but it is so wonderful!
Cut Up and Quilt in Council Bluffs, IA is my favorite. They have lots of colorful fabrics and many batiks, which I love! Plus they are super nice!

My fav quilt shop here in Regina is the Peachtree quilt shop. They carry theist wonderful fabrics and they are helpful with any sewing problem!
My favorite is West Virginia Quilt about 25 miles from my home. What makes it special is the owner. She is always encouraging, lets me know when she gets new things I might like, and going to the shop is like visiting a friend.
The Quilted Forest! Besides being a great shop, I love to walk my twins there in the double stroller and their spacious store allows plenty of space for us to stroll around while we shop!

I do not have a local quilt shop -- not many options nearby at all. I rely on online stores. I do have a local craft store, tho.
My LQS is actually called The Quilt Store - Evelyns Sewing Center in Newmarket, Ontario. It is a fabulous store with tons and fabrics, classes and amazing displays for inspiration.
Better not forget the great service!
My favorite LQS is Quilter's Corner Store in Beaverton, Oregon. It is a small shop but the owner has done a great job of stocking the store with fabulous fabrics. She also will take suggestions for fabrics which you would like to see in the store and does follow up on buying it. There are great project kits that are quick to make and her prices are very reasonable.
I really enjoy Quilts Etc. They have a huge inventory of fabric and patterns and ideas.
My local quilt shop is Ma's got a notion, they are located in Havana, Illinois. All of the ladies that work there are very helpful, and nice. Thanks for the giveaway.

My favorite local quilt shop is The Quilt Shack. Why? Because Mary runs it and is so sweet and knowledgeable about everything in her store. She always makes the customer feel like they are the only person there.

My favorite local quilt shop is the Sun Valley Fabric Granary - they have the nicest employees, a beautiful array of sample quilts, and great fabric selection. Oh - and the ceiling is to die for - you have to visit to see the ceiling :)
My favorite local quilt shop is Momma Made It in Longview, WA. It is a shop devoted to Civil War repros and it has the most wonderful vibe. The fabrics are gorgeous, and displayed really well. There are samples all over the store along with books that appeal to every stage of quilter. Sharon, the owner, and her staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and really welcoming. All in all, a delightful place to be and a real asset to our community.

Jackman's Fabrics in St. Louis is my fave LQS. The staff there are great, it is family owned, they have lots and lots of batiks, there are plenty of classes to choose from, the sewing department staff is great, there is a whole section of specialty fabrics. I could go on and on but I love my LQS.

My favorite quilt shop is Fabric Chicks in Coupeville, Washington. Melanie, the owner of the shop has been an encouragement to me and is a big reason why I make quilts today.
My favorite quilt shop is Village Creek in Lodi, WI. The owner, the staff, how the store is decorated, the samples and the fabric all make this store enjoyable and the best. You should stop in if you are ever near Lodi, WI!
I have two favorites, Fat Quarter Shop and Homespun Hearth. Both give fantastic customer service, carry up to date fabric of excellent quality.

The Old Country Store, Intercourse, PA is my favorite local shop. We are so happy it's back and better than ever. The staff is wonderful, they have a fabulous inventory and it's fun to talk with visitors from around the world. I'm so lucky to have it in my "neighborhood".

Sew E-Z in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The shop owners have thee best customer service and are truly in tune w/their quilting customers, offering unique and classic fabrics.
I shop at Annie's Quilts in Newcastle,, ON. It is a small shop but filled to the brim with lots of goodies.
I don't have a favorite quilt shop at the moment. I haven't been able to find one that makes me feel warm and welcome.
We have a Quilty Shop near us, called Country Fabrics...it is owned by Mennonites. They have the most Awesome quilts hanging up everywhere!! Sweeetest ladies work there...and are helpful as can be. So many fabrics to choose from.. threads, notions, etc. Even some Gorgeous China Tea Sets! Asst'd other cool household things too. Looove going there!!

My favorite shop is The Quilting Quarters in Almonte Ontario Canada. The Owner Sue Shutt gives you hands on help in choosing fabric. When taking classes from her she is very knowledgeable and gives you one on one help. Like this shop very much.
The Quilt Academy, Bensalem, PA. I've met many new friends there.
My local quilts shop is Cloth Castle on Goldstream in Victoria, BC - I like it there because they have everything there that you need for quilting - they have great sales and they service and sell sewing machines.

My favourite lqs is called A Sewing Sensation. They have a good selection of fat quarters, yardage, some precuts, and notions.
Rag Bag in Shelby,NC isn't a quilt shop really it's an everything shop but I love it. Next would be Carolina Cotton in Kings Mountain,NC. Nice shop, great service.
We don't have any quilt shops in our area, as far as I know. There is a nice fabric shop that has relatively inexpensive fabric, but they don't have much quilting cotton.

I love Quilts Etc. in Sandy, UT. Their fabric selection is wonderful and they have wonderful classes!
There is a wonderful shop in Pensacola, called A & E Fabric. I LOVE to go there, but it is a very dangerous place! LOL They have such a wonderful stock of fabric and craft supplies!! It's hard to have restraint when you're shopping there! :-)
In Amsterdam there's a small shop called "'t stoffenkarretje" and it's special because you can find all kind of fabrics for a very good deal and the saleslady is just so open and warm, she doesn't want to sell us fabrics well not only that, but she also talks to me and my friends and she's so friendly!

My favorite fabric shop is Pine Needles in Gardner Village. They are always so helpful and very willing to figure out the measurements of the quilt with you, and they have great sales!

Pink Castle Fabrics in Ann Arbor Michigan is my favorite shop. They have a retreat called Camp Stitch a Lot and a great variety of fabrics. The staff is fabulous!
The Cotton Cupboard in Bangor, Maine. The keep growing and increasing their selection!
The Fabric Dock in Wiggins, MS. It is a great little shop with great selection and prices.
Pocono Sew & Vac in Stroudsburg, PA, and American Ribbon, also in Stroudsburg. Both are great stores, great selections, helpful staff, and good prices.
GeeGee's in Yelm, WA has the nicest staff! And a great selection of fabrics. :-)
There is a new one about 5 minutes from my house. It's name is Sewn Together, in Norco, CA. The owner is really nice and helpful. Hope she is there for a long, long time!
The Quilt Tree in Kittanning, PA is a newer shop. Great selection of fabrics and a lot of great classes as well.
Gathering Friends in Bird Island, MN. Great shop with lots of fabrics and helpful staff.
Folk Art Quilts in South Kingstown RI is by far my favorite!! Friendly, helpful and LOTS of fabric. Lots of ideas and just wonderful people !
School House Fabrics in Floyd, Virginia. 3 floors of an old schoolhouse that has almost everything you could imagine for quilting and more. The staff rocks!!!
I feel fortunate to have several premiere quilt shops near me, so I can't honestly pick a favorite. I love them equally.

We've only one shop that's close enough to go often, Back Porch Quilts in Greenwood IN.
The Quilting Season in Saline, Michigan. It's a wonderful shop, great staff, and a variety of fabrics, patterns, classes and notions. They have sew-in days that are so much fun to go to.
My new favorite quilt shop is Rydel's in Lodi, CA. New because I just found it. The fabric is great and the owner is so fun and welcoming.

I live in Canada and my favourite one is the Ye Olde Quilt Shop in Stratford Ontario. Going there is like a kid in a candy store. The fabric colors are so fresh and happy. I want to buy them all.
I'm in Penticton BC and i love Poppin's quilt parlour the most. they just have so many fabrics and i love checking out the quilts on the walls.
