Beth Logan's At the Lake...A New Quilt Pattern

Well, I am happy to say that our fellow Henry Glass customers are super creative and innovative. This very sweet lady, Kathy Burchill from North Dakota has designed her very own pattern and quilt using Beth Logan's fabric At the Lake. Kathy goes to her own local quilt store, Quilted Ceiling in Valley City, ND. She also teaches kids classes (with the help of her sister Linda Carico and Krista Sorensen) and some adult classes as well.

Her new quilt design is called Perry's Campfire and was designed especially for her husband who she said..."can't wait until he can take it camping".

She also says...If some do not want to go through all the applique, I included the directions with exchanging the applique panel for 2 more rows of blocks. Please email Kathy directly if you would like the directions! kathyburchill@yahoo.com

    Hello Henry Glass Fabrics! This past spring, I visited the Cooper Hewitt Museum in NYC where I saw beautiful hand painted fabric paintings from early Henry Glass designs. The curator happened to be giving a private chat with a lady, and I happened to mention that I knew that Henry Glass was still in production. "How do you know that" she asked suspiciously...Well, I replied, I am a quilter! Just thought you'd like to know! You design lovely fabric and the quality would make the founders proud! Pam in Chico

    interesting use of themed fabrics.
    Anne sent me here but it is unusual that I did not find my own way.
    Yours was one of the first major brands I learnt to recognize and one of your early tone on tones in Jewel colors is in a few color crates in my stash.

    I took the Bunny Hill challenge of a scavenger hunt and visited your blog, and then your website. Your 1930s reproduction line "Posies" reminded me of my Grandma's dresses or aprons, or even the quilts she hand-patched when the dresses or aprons were worn out!
