Let's Vogue With Lizzie B Cre8ive!

We recently caught up with Liz Hawkins and Beth Hawkins of Lizzie B Cre8ive! They are so excited because their Vogue line has arrived at their doorsteps! Here's what the ladies had to say:

Vogue has ARRIVED! We're SO excited that it's finally HERE! When my FedEx man started pulling these boxes off his truck in my driveway I'm sure he thought I was nuts jumping up and down, clapping, dancing in circles singing ... "It's here! It's here. My fabric is HEEEEERE!" Segueing into ...
"Strike a pose ... Vogue, Vogue, Vogue" while framing my face with my hands, very Madonna-esque. In fact, I think he plopped those babies down, high-tailed it back in the driver's seat and all but peeled right out of my drive. But, did I care? No I did not. It's HEEEEEERE!!!

And seriously ... isn't it gorgeous? Do you blame me for happy dancing in my driveway? I didn't think so.

Of course I had to get it on my shelves right away. There's a certain amount of petting and admiring that has to be done during this process. And, I had to Instagram it as soon as possible!

If I were to describe this line, I'd say it shows a more artsy, sophisticated side of Lizzie B. We gathered inspiration for this line in the fashion districts of New York City and Paris. It's bursting with bold florals, geometrics and architectural elements. And for the first time ever, we've added a panel filled with whimsical frames. Vogue has three color ways; a rich turquoise, pink/reds and gray. I'll tell you right now, they all look LUSCIOUS together!

Want some ideas of what one can do with Vogue???

How about the sweetest ever iPad or tablet cover??? See how we cut one of the frames out of the panel to adorn this cute cover? The sky is the limit! Oh we're having fun with these frames! iPad cover pattern available as PDF download here at ShopLizzieB!

So fun to whip up a Lizzie B Backsack a la Vogue! Yet again, another frame dons this sweet sack. Isn't it gorgeous? Guess where the backsack pattern is available? Yep, you guessed it, it's in our shop here.

And, of course, we just HAD to make a pillow. The hardest part was choosing just WHICH frame to use! Personally, my favorite frame is the one in the middle of the panel ...

But that would have been a MUCH larger pillow! Still, might hafta make it. Meanwhile, we thought we'd give you a freebie pattern of our cute little "believe" pillow. Download the pattern here.

Take a moment to leave a comment and tell us what you think about Vogue. Inspired to do a project of your own? Please share! You'll be entered to win a nice BIG bundle of Vogue fat quarters!

Deadline: Sunday, October 12, 2012 at midnight.

We hope you'll be just as excited about our new line as we are, and that Vogue will inspire you to believe in your dreams, surround yourself with creativity and take a moment to ...

Strike a pose!

(...even on your driveway for you FedEx man should you feel so inclined.)

Thanks, Beth and Liz! You are always so fun to chat with!

CONGRATULATIONS! Your new fabrics look "good enough to waller in" as we say in the south. I think I'd have to start with a tote for almost instant gratification and then move on to a lap quilt. I'll start looking for just the right pattern now...just in case.

This is such a pretty line. I see potential for purse with coordinating catch-all zipper pouch and wallet. +OR+ a lap quilt for my soon to be a teenager step grandniece who is now more aware of clothes and style.
